Walt Disney World is a magical place where you can immerse yourself in different worlds and see some of your favorite characters. However, it is in Orlando, Florida where it can also be a hot and humid, especially in the summer months. That’s why you might want to know which attractions can help you stay cool and comfortable during your visit. In this article, we will share the top three attractions at Walt Disney World that help you cool off or escape the rain.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Conservation Station – Go inside relax in the A/C while watching animal procedures and vet check ups, learning how to draw, and more. Note to get, take the 1.2 mile route onboard the Wildlife Express Train.
Its Tough to be a bug – Located inside the Tree of Life enjoy a 4D film while cooling off. Pro tip: check out the movie posters before going inside the theater. Note: Disney announced this attraction will be replaced with a Zootopia themed attraction. New date TBD.
Festival of the Lion King – fantastic show with lots of A/C. Bonus tip: the show will have less crowds in the morning. If you want to go in the afternoon, use Genie+ for it.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Muppet 3D Vision - Enjoy this film/live action show in the A/C. Bonus tip: At the end of the show you see a firetruck. It used to be parked at the exit of this attraction.
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration – this 25 minute show is perfect for any Frozen fan who wants too cool off in the A/C
Walt Disney Presents (One Man's Dream) – tour the gallery inside and then watch a 15 minute movie.
Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room – the queue is in the shade and the show has AC. It runs about 15 minutes. When you exit do you keep singing the song “The Tiki Tiki Tiki Room” by Robert and Richard Sherman? Bonus: Get the famous Dole Whip next door at Aloha Isle Refreshments.
Hall of Presidents – good show that usually does not have a long wait. Both the waiting area and show are in the AC. The shows runs about 22 minutes.
Carousel of Progress – There is rarely a long line for this attraction – ride in in the afternoon as you enjoy the AC. See how technology in the home has progressed. Did you know that the Carousel of Progress is the longest-running stage show in American theater history
Bonus attraction: Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover - this is one of my favorite rides to some shade and giving my feet a rest from walking. As a bonus you get to go through Space Mountain and get some fantastic views of some of your favorite attractions.
EPCOT
SeaBase – This awesome aquarium is located near The Seas with Nemo & Friends. You might even spot a hidden Mickey! Make sure to check out both levels and ask a cast member about the feeding schedule and in general ask about the marine life living here.
Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival – this attraction usually does not have a long line and is a great escape in the afternoon.
Spaceship Earth – Yes, the ride is great. However, go to the exit and enter the interactive play area. There are a few educational or activities you can do inside, away from the heat!
